Robert Doane draws from his personal experience of over 300.000 acupuncture and herbal patient visits.
Over the past 20 years Robert Doane has mastered the techniques taught by the great doctors of the distal method acupuncture approach, namely Richard Tan (Balance Method - Link), Master Tung/Wei Chieh Young, Chao Chen, Li Chun Huang, Ming Qing Zhu, Yun Peng Fang, Korean Hand Therapy, Acu-Line/Acu-Nova, Mao Qun Hui and Medical Acupuncture elements.
He developed a synthesis of all the distal acupuncture approaches, which, clinically, is a highly potent method of imaging and layering techniques called the DNAâ„¢ (Distal Needling Acupunctureâ„¢).
DNAâ„¢ allowed him to build one of the biggest Chinese Medicine practices in the USA. He has lectured extensively throughout the USA on how to treat pain using DNAâ„¢, frequently filling up seminars with 300+ practitioners.
In addition he has perfected the art of bio-medically based pulse-diagnosis: the MPDâ„¢ system (Medical Pulse Diagnosisâ„¢) - based on the Pulsynergy system developed by Jimmy Wei-Yen Chang as well as John Shen's and Leon Hammer's systems. He therefore is renowned worldwide for mastering both acupuncture and Chinese herbology.

Robert Doane is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pain Management and has lectured extensively on health throughout Asia and the United States. His goal is to advance Chinese medicine away from its inadequate image as a spiritual "Energy medicine" and to present it as an elaborate bio-medical system that is based on bio-physiology.
